M. Shaw lives in Arvada, Colorado, with their cats, Mutiny and Balthier. In addition to being a graduate of the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers’ Workshop (class of 2019), they are one of the organizers of the Denver Mercury Poetry Slam, one of the longest-running slam nights worldwide. Their science fiction poetry chapbook, A Race Between the Air and the Bullets, is available from Trouble Department (troubledepartment.com). Eventually they are going to eat the sun.
