Premee Mohamed is an Indo-Caribbean scientist and speculative fiction author based in Edmonton, Alberta. She is the author of novels Beneath the Rising (Crawford, Aurora, and Locus Award finalist) and A Broken Darkness from Solaris Books, and novellas These Lifeless Things (Rebellion Publishing, 2021), And What Can We Offer You Tonight (Neon Hemlock Press, 2021), and The Annual Migration of Clouds (ECW Press, 2021). Her next novel, The Void Ascendant, is due out in 2022.
